Jaisalmer Fort Walk
A fort that breathes history
It is worth visiting Jaisalmer for its fortress alone. It is the only fortress in India today which continues to be lived in and is a vivid example of living history! The fortress pays particular tribute to Jainism and has a beautiful complex of stone-carved Jain temples within its ramparts. You can also visit the Gyan Bhandar, a library containing rare palm-leaf scrolls of ancient Jain manuscripts, some of which date as far back as the 11th century.
