Founder - Director

PN Nageshwaran, well known in the industry as Nagesh, is a self-made entrepreneur who stepped into the realm of travel at an early age. Just a few years into the profession while working with French travel companies, he set up Incent Tours in 1981. With a strong focus on Incentive travel from Europe and having handled many prestigious travel groups, brand Incent India today is looked upon as a bold and innovative company that is constantly redefining service and quality benchmarks. It was Nagesh’s vision for the yet nascent domestic market in India that was responsible for the creation of Travel Scope in the year 1995 and launched Travel Scope into the Inbound segment with its first account from France in 1999. Nagesh continues to guide Travel Scope, as a professional and a family member.

Mohan Narayanaswamy

Managing Director

Travel moves Mohan, literally; movies, music and art inspire him. As the Captain of the ship at Travel Scope, he is the creative head, innovator and strategist, bringing to the business of curated travel planning, everything his life within and without travel has taught him. Some he was born to….. music, movies, mythology, religion, gardening and some he learnt along the way, art, textile, history, philosophy, theatre, cuisine, etc.. An effortless linguist, Mohan has a deep sense of pride in being Indian, loves the small daily rituals and traditions he still follows and is a curious seeker constantly opening his horizons to different geographies, cultures and people.

Growing up in Delhi in the late seventies and eighties when everything the youth did was dictated by Bollywood, cricket and politics, if Delhi has been Mohan’s playground, travel has been ‘world’ school. This is where he learnt to perfect his inherent skills for organization and delve deeper into his interests. Today, as a master crafter of specially curated programs, and someone who can operate perfect logistics for the most demanding traveler with singular focus, Mohan is the quintessential travel evangelist designing travel and immersions for travellers from around the globe.

Second in command, Somesh has been a pillar of strength for Travel Scope since its very inception. With a quiet poise and unhurried optimism, he ably balances team management, daily operations, and client interface while also strengthening relationships with partner hotels and service providers.

Second in command at Travel Scope, Somesh ably balances team operations, client interface and management with a quiet poise and unhurried optimism. Born in Kolkatta, undeniably the country's cultural capital, Somesh moved many cities thanks to his father who worked for the Indian Railways. Not surprising then that Somesh attributes his love for travel to his early years which were spent travelling by train within India for annual vacations and later on his own to discover places. A Masters in Tourism from Rewa University, Somesh has spent over 20 years in the industry, most of it at Travel Scope. An amateur photographer, Somesh loves cultural soirées and spends much of his spare time introducing his children to India or listening to music.

Anoop Kala

Had the travel bug not bitten and led him to pursue a career in tourism, Anoop would have joined the defence services or become a sports professional or pursued theatre. He was also a Senior Office of the National Cadet Corps where camps are an important part of training, may be this is a clue towards his inclination towards travel. Amidst such wide ranging interests, Anoop fine tuned his skills to be a travel professional, bringing to his profile creativity and organisation, both important attributes in handling high-end travellers. Cooking and biking are his interests which he manages to find time for,  while independently handling travellers from USA and creating programs consumers and travel agents.

Naresh Rautela

Naresh grew up in a small hill town by the river Ganges in the Northern Himalayan state of Uttarakhand. He was always intrigued by the travellers transiting through his hometown to the higher reaches for various adventure activities and this triggered the travel bug in him. After graduating in science he did masters in Tourism studies before pursuing a career this industry. Leading from the front Naresh heads a young team handling sales and operations for clients from Australia, France and Germany.

Sourav Kumar

“Sourav spent his childhood and completed high School from “Steel city of India – Jamshedpur also referred as TATA NAGAR.” After, school he moved to New Delhi for higher studies in 2004. From his days at school, he aspired to be a Tourism professional and this triggered a personal interest in travel as well. He obtained a graduate in degree in Tourism studies and has been pursuing a career in this industry since 2007. His passion for travel is what keeps him motivated at work. He has travelled through North, Central and Southern India. At Travel Scope, Sourav handles sales and operations for the high-end travellers from USA, South America and Canada. He has the ability to identify his client’s needs and interests and come up with customised travel itineraries accordingly. He maintains consistent contact with his client while they are travelling in India to ensure that they have a memorable travel experience."

Anees hails from the hinterlands of Uttar Pradesh, one of the largest political constituencies in India. An unrealised childhood dream of joining the services was the reason why Anees took up several jobs before he found his calling in the world of travel quite by chance and luckily for him his first boss in the travel industry was his mentor and travel turned out to be his passion and continues to be so.  According to him, ‘travel is his endless sky to fly’ and it is this dedication and focus he brings to his role in Travel Scope as he leads operations and client servicing for guests from Australia. You will find Anees in quiet repose on his computer, a smile playing on him, obviously enjoying chalking out perfect India experiences for travellers.
