A program that takes you into the unexplored regions of Rajasthan – its vibrant rural life, rich scrubby forests of Ranthambore teeming with birds and animals of the wild including the Tiger, Bundi – a region known for its unique genre of miniature paintings, historical forts and those converted to exceptional luxury hotels. One could drive miles on quiet roads without encountering another human, or come up against a caravan of camels or a herd of cattle or sheep being lead to pasture by strikingly clad tribals. Hotels in this circuit provide a wonderful combination of world-class luxury, boutique palaces and wilderness lodges.

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport T-3, you will be met by a Travel Scope representative and transferred to your accommodations. Check-In to your hotel.

Spend the morning exploring the old city. Commence your day with a visit to the 17th century Jama Masjid and ride a rickshaw through the narrow lanes of the old city and walk through the spice markets. Continue to the Bangla Saheb Gurudwara and visit the community kitchen where thousands of worshippers are fed round the clock.


Shopping options include a visit to Khan Market, Santushti Complex or Dilli Haat. Specific shopping options can be made available on request. Travel Scope also makes available a list of options for dining out and assists travellers with reservations at a restaurant of their choice.

After breakfast this morning you will commence your drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. On arrival in Agra you check-into to your accommodations. This afternoon you will visit the Agra Fort, which dates back to the 11th Century and was captured by several rulers before it was rebuilt by the Great Mughal King Akbar in the 16th Century.


You will then visit the tomb of Itmad ud Daulah also referred to as Baby Taj or the Mehtab Bagh for sunset views of the Taj Mahal. The Mehtab Bagh is one of the many gardens built by the Mughal rulers.

  • Ramathra

Rise early and visit the magnificent Taj Mahal in the subtle morning light while it is still relatively uncrowded by the numerous visitors from all parts of the country and this world. After a leisurely breakfast, commence your drive to Jaipur. Stop enroute to visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, also the erstwhile capital of Mugahl Rulers.


Lunch today will be at the Chandra Mahal Haveli at Pehersar. Board your train to Gangapur at the Bharatpur Railway Station.


Upon arrival, check-in to your suite or tent at Ramathra Fort - a family run retreat set on a small hillock overlooking the panoramic wilderness.

Explore the Ramathra Village and countryside. Interact with the locals, visit farms, experience the village school and be cheered by the children.

The remainder of the day will be at your leisure.




·      Enjoy a cooking lesson in the company of your host. 

·      Cycling in the pristine countryside around Ramathra.

·      Canoeing on the Ramathra Lake.

·     Birding Walk around the Lake.

·      Sunset Boat Cruise on the Lake with Sundowners.

  • Ranthambore

After breakfast this morning you will drive to Ranthambore in a 4wd jeep or on camelback via. Chambal Lake (seasonal). Alternatively you could cycle the stretch of 30 Km. (Approximately 2.5 hours of cycling)


On arrival in Ranthambore Check-into your accommodations.

The dry deciduous valley of Ranthambore, spanned by the Aravali and Vindhya ranges and traversed by the Chambal River, is home to awide variety of birds and animals. It is known for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to see these majestic predators in the jungle.


Today explore the forests of Ranthambore, which were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Jaipur. You will rise early for a morning Jeep Safari into the protected Ranthambore National Park. You will then return to the hotel for a brunch and time to relax before embarking onyour afternoon drive into the Park.


You may select from the following options should you chose not to do the afternoon drive.

·      Visit the Ranthambore Fort.

·      Visit an NGO supporting local handicrafts.

·      Nature Walk around the property.

After breakfast this morning commence your journey to Bundi – often described as the undiscovered jewel of Rajasthan. Surrounded on 3 sides by the rugged, thickly forested Aravali hills, this walled town has retained much of its historic character. The highlight of a visit to the Bundi Fort is the Chattar Mahal and Chitra Shala. The murals in these palaces are regarded as among the finest examples of Rajput Miniature Art. One of the must do’s at Bundi is a walk through the vibrant and colorful town of Bundi with it’s old architecture and the busy markets.


After lunch you will commence your 2-hour drive to Bhainsrorgarh located on the edges of the Chambal River. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodations for the night.

BAINSROGARH – is an ideal stop in the middle of a long trip to the unexplored regions of Rajasthan- a place to revel amidst nature with the Chambal River meandering close by. Situated within a majestic fort on a rugged cliff over the Chambal, Bainsrorgarh Fort offers nine rooms and suites within a subtly restored palace. The family has put together a wonderful array of activities for people seeking to explore this region.


Today will be at your leisure to explore the surroundings of Bhainsrorgarh Fort.




·      A jeep ride through the countryside, culminating at the site of an ancient temple.

·      Visit to the 9th Century Baroli Temples known for their fine architecture and stone carvings.

·      Angling on the Chambal River.

·      Visit of the local tribal villages around Bhainsrorgarh.

After a leisurely breakfast, commence your 4 hour journey to Shahpura Bagh. You also have the option of cycling your way through the back roads between Bhainsrorgarh and Shahpura Bagh.


This afternoon will be at your leisure to explore the property and its surroundings.

Shahpura Bagh is really an Oasis Unexplored. The main building Nahar Niwas is the residence of the family who personally greet all the guests. One of the highlights of the stay at Shahpura Bagh is the presence of the family members who come from diverse professional backgrounds. Interactions with them brings great learning opportunities, whether it’s the history of the place, the conservation measures of their forefathers and their philanthropic endeavors that they undertook generations ago.


Scrumptious meals cooked under careful supervision of the family members and served in the cool high-ceilinged dining room of Nahar Niwas. Al fresco dining options are available in the lawns or around the swimming pool.


Begin your exploration of Shahpura with a visit to the100-acre family farm, thereafter proceed on an exploration of Shahpura Town.

Return to your hotel for lunch. This afternoon you may choose to do an exploration of the secret recipes of the family guarded over generations. At sunset visit the Dhikula Fort for sundowners and a 360-degree view of the countryside.

After breakfast this morning, you will commence your 2 hour drive to Jojawar. Check-in to your accommodations upon arrival. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure. You may choose to go on a jeep safari around the countryside at Jojawar.

After an early breakfast, you will go on an exploration of Jojawar with a Village Walk for a closer look at life in the neighboring Rebari settlements. The Rebari community boasts of camel breeders decked in fascinating attire with vividly colored turbans and the dresses.


Return to the hotel for the afternoon and thereafter proceed on a Train Safari to the Aravallis. The train route between the cities of Jodhpur and Udaipur goes up the scenic Kambli Ghat Pass. One of our favorite excursions is this daily train service from the station at the start of the hill section to the highest station in the Aravallis – the Kambli Ghat station, or the other way round.

After breakfast this morning you will visit the invincible battle fort of Kumbalgarh - built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, whose tales of valour still colour the state’s folklore.


After lunch at Kumbalgarh, commence your drive to Devigarh, stopping enroute for a quick visit of the Ranakpur Jain Temples. Upon arrival, check-into your accommodations at Devigarh Fort hotel.

This morning you will proceed on an exploration of Udaipur and a visit to the City Palace. Udaipur, the fairly-tale city, with its marble palaces and lakes, surrounded by a ring of hills, is dominated by the massive City Palace. Picturesque havelis and temples line the lakefront with the lively bazaars of the old walled city stretching behind them. The city’s inherent romance and beauty and its remarkable past continue to enthrall one and all.


Return back to Devigarh for the afternoon and spend the remainder of your day at leisure.



·      A walk through the village and a visit to the Jain Temples.

·      Visit to the Eklingji Temple and Nagda Ruins.

·      Spa treatments at Devigarh.

·      Meet with the Astrologer.

·      Relax by the poolside.

·      Devigarh offers special and exclusive venues for a private dining experience.

After a relaxing morning you will transfer to the Udaipur Airport where a Travel Scope representative will assist you for Check-In to your short flight to Delhi.


On arrival in Delhi you will be met by a Travel Scope representative and transferred to your accommodations. A car and driver will be at your disposal for the remainder of the day to accomplish your last minute shopping requirements or to continue exploring the city. A room will be reserved at a hotel with close access to the airport for wash and change or stay overnight.

Early this morning you will be transferred to the International Airport. A Travel Scope Representative will assist you with check-in formalities at the airport for homebound flight.
